Rick Bond is a speaker builder from Melbourne Victoria and his company Lucie Audio not only builds speakers but also a matching DSP-based audio processor to apply room corrections to the system in real time. I heard of Rick via his own podcast, Speaker Talk, which he co-hosts with Welsh speaker builder Trystan Hardie of Gwedd Loudspeakers. I have played around with loudspeakers a bit over the years and I was pretty intrigued by the room correction technology that Rick has so I took the chance to meet him and check it out for myself when I was in Melbourne recently.
